With the TYPE 30 Everything Changed for Jazzy Jeff

With a career that spans over 30 years, Philadelphia’s own DJ Jazzy Jeff is one of the most iconic DJs and producers in hip-hop, from his beginnings alongside Will Smith to becoming a part of the city's soul renaissance with his A Touch of Jazz production company.

As such it was an honor for Jeff to open the doors to his modern hybrid recording studio for our case study series.
